NOVEMBER 25 International Global Consciousness Day is a 2011 VOICES FOR CHANGE initiative to unite people around the World who are concerned with the sad and sorry state of affairs this World finds itself in.

During the 12 months prior to 2012, over 1000 Facebook Profile Pictures were created, all can be seen on various pages throughout this web site. They were prompted by the many campaigns and petitions streaming through Facebook at a rate of thousands every day.

The campaign to unite Voices world wide came about through  "People For Global Justice" ~ a Facebook networking group which has now become the base networking group for VOICES FOR CHANGE.

The declaration was first submitted to the United Nations December 1, 2011 - after  the close of November 25. 1,107 signatures were surface mailed in hard copy to the UN on December 1, 2011
240 additional late signatures will be included in the 2012 submission.

All petitions will be submitted in registered hard copy surface mail to the UN, EU, AU, ASEAN and UNASUR when all petitions combined have reached 10,000 signatures.

Members of the UN, EU, AU, ASEAN, UNASUR
Members of all Governments

Dear Sir, Madam, Your Honor, Your Excellency, Mr President, Mr Prime Minister

We believe it is unnecessary to commence by asking if you are aware of the World Wide situation in regard to Environment Destruction, cruelty and atrocities inflicted on humans and animals, the crime and corruption which has gone rampant in every country, every society, every government and every financial or other vested interest organization.

This World, this Planet, is run by rivalry, every man for himself, not to exclude the word "woman", not to say however that every man and woman plays a role in the deadly, destructive business we see at such a grand scale around the world today. Whatever our part in this World, we are all caught up, directly or indirectly, in the destruction of Life, and we all know this, all to whom this is addressed included.

Somewhere in the early beginnings of human history, we, humanity, have taken the wrong path, if not having been led onto the wrong path. Either way, we, VOICES FOR CHANGE, the people of this World, regard this as irrelevant in as far as change for a new and better society is concerned. We can all continue to blame one and other till the end of time and continue the insanity of wars, destruction and crimes against Life itself as the Jews and Palestinians, the Christians and the Muslims, the Financial Magnates and the Downtrodden Poor, or we can begin to make drastic changes to the ways in which this entire Human Society thinks and conducts itself.

So, we, the VOICES FOR CHANGE hereby put it to you that we are tired of wars, killing and destruction and we demand an end to talk and a beginning to reform throughout every country, within every government and incorporated offices, within every religious hierarchy, within every community where Life is taken for granted and the conditioned perception that violence and deceit are the reality of Life. This Global Community is due for change. Such transition may not be easy, but it is as possible as a fish swims under water and a bird flies in the air. And where else would we demand the initiative to be taken than from this world's governments and associated government bodies such as the UN, EU, AU, ASEAN and UNASUR.

It is generally accepted in every country one way or other, that theft, murder, deliberate cause of injury and property destruction is punishable by constitutional law. Such law generally extends to complicity, directly or indirectly. In terms of Justice, no one, individual or organization, can be above the law. In respect of this Universal Law, we have a situation today where every government and associated body, every corporate CEO, every financial stock holder, lawyer, accountant, consumer, every dictator and every small time criminal is complicit in the destruction of Life and therefor punishable by measures that should warrant equal returns for the crime committed.

VOICES FOR CHANGE, the People of this World do not believe in endless retribution, we do not believe in antagonism and endless violence as the answer. But we believe the time for drastic change to the entire Global social system is now, as millenniums of inflicted suffering of humanity and animals alike is ENOUGH.

Viable answers and feasible options have been offered by thousands of people before and after every war ever waged in history but ignored by the very people with the resources to reform human thinking. The United Nations has claimed to be such liberating body for humanity since 1945. But it has not delivered apart from the vested interest patch ups here and there to be seen to be doing something, while in fact the atrocities around the entire world have gone rampant like never before in history.

So please accept our demand for change so that the new generation of 0 to 20 year olds can look to the future instead of becoming a suicidal, violence obsessed, war mongering society where Life finds no common place. People want co-operation between ALL countries, no more antagonism, wars, violence, and no more mere talk without yielding solutions. The UN has the resources to access all concerned, it needs to demand change from all concerned, for sake of a better world for ALL.

AFRICA - crying for 6000 years since the ancient Egyptian empire. Only when Africa starts dancing again will the world wake up.

Africa's history of interference, exploitation, abuse, atrocities and environment destruction is the oldest and longest in the world. Slavery, child abuse, racial hatred, conflicts, wars, multinational exploitation, poaching, killing, crime and corruption, the legacy of its history, has become a way of life, one that cannot be sustained socially nor environmentally. Africa needs change. It has no more time left for ongoing conventional talk. The time for change is NOW.

Do not abandon those whose photos you see above and the many, many others who gave their Life for you, for your children, for wildlife, pets, and the very environment granted to each of us to experience the Living Miracle we call Planet Earth. Close the chapter on 8000 years of traced recorded history. Enough is enough, turn to a new page now.

She has paid a high price for speaking out for the Burmese people through years of oppression by a brutal military Burmese (now Myanmar) regime. Put under house arrest for many years, like Nelson Mandela in South Africa, Aung San Suu never departed from her support for the oppressed people of Myanmar.
Myanmar has seen a peaceful people rise up against the decorations clad generals ruling with no regard for human life to keep their hardline regime in power, living the high life, eating well, while their constituency lives in utmost poverty.
Whether her address at the World Economic Forum will penetrate the diplomatic community minds  “Shaping New Models for The Great Transformation” however, is a question we may not hold our breath for. At the 7 star Swiss ski resort of Davos no one keeps time of urgency.

We write petitions on all issues, on behalf of all Global campaigns. All petitions are sent both email and per hard copy surface mail to the UN who we hold accountable for all Global Affairs. As well, a copy of each petition is sent to the specific government held responsible for atrocities and destruction in their jurisdiction.

Our group is limited to 30 base members. Anyone displaying the GLOBE IN HAND banner on their Facebook Profile, signing VOICES FOR CHANGE petitions and helping to raise NOVEMBER 25 GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS awareness is a VOICES FOR CHANGE member.

The GLOBAL CONSCIOUSNESS DECLARATION has been explained in sections back towards the top of the page. The VOICES FOR CHANGE ~ GLOBAL UNITY PETITION is a pledge made on the understanding that changing an age old failed human social system cannot be done in a day. Some of us may never see it materialize, but we can all see a step in the right direction from time to time ~ partly due because of the clearly visible world wide demonstrations revolution, partly because unity is slowly evolving. No one can impose this pledge onto you, nor hold you to it. If you sign, you pledge to keep a GLOBE IN HAND BANNER on your Facebook profile, but only you can hold yourself to that pledge.

Demonstrations are in many ways not conducive to change as many trigger violent reactions, are marred by anti change lobbyists and many demonstrators demand that the system provides higher standards comparable with the affluent lifestyles of the wealthy, without understanding the changes they themselves have to make in order to contribute to an equitable society which understands the meaning of living cooperatively with the ecosystem, wildlife and each other.
